pet peeve...

poker on sports channels.

when i turn to the score, tsn or sportsnet. i expect sports. something that requires some amount of physical activity to be good at. not poker.

i hate to admit it...

this whole time i bitched and complained. what a waste of time. i hate this stupid essay, why am i writing it? and it's true, i wrote this essay to fit my given criteria. i dreamed up ways of how the ontario early years center promotes health and addresses social environment as a determinant of health.

but in the end, i learned quite a lot about child care and early childhood education in canada. and i guess, that's the point of this course. to educate us about the services that are available to the community that help make our society healthy. i'm starting to realize that physicians are end-of-the-line tertiary prevention. and i'm starting to see why physicians need to start exerting their influence on the community to promote health from the very beginning.

stupid determinants of community health course co-ordinator. i hate you. and i hate you more because you're right.
