time for a change...

i had a request to update my blog, and i will comply. i think i should update more often because, blogs, as sad as it is, is a way for some of us to find out what's going on in someone else's life. you figure you could just pick up the phone and call, or maybe just msn, but it's amazing how busy everyone is, and finding just that little bit of time is not as easy as it sounds.

it feel like saying nothing has changed since i last updated, but that would be a complete lie. in reality, so much has happened, i don't even know where to begin, and i don't really feel like revealing my life story in the rest of the post. suffice it to say, things are still going amazing (as they were 1 month ago). i'm definately getting over the honeymoon phase of med school, and although i'm still loving it, the adoration isn't there anymore. i like what i'm learning, i look forward to many days, but there are days where i'm just so exhausted from school, basketball, music rehearsals and my other committments that i just want to time to relax, sit back, watch a movie and think about nothing.

although this probably surprises no one, i'm posting right now because i have an embryo exam tomorrow morning. i don't think i'll ever break the habit of blogging when i'm studying. the reason actually makes a lot of sense: i have the most time when i'm studying. i free up my weekends and deliberately spend a lot more time at home. hence, more time.

i FINALLY got to see much of the chemeng crew this weekend, which was very refreshing. best of luck KATIE, there's no reason to be scared, you're going to have an amazing time in sweden.

the next couple of weeks will be crammed as usual. more rehearsals, another big ass test and of course more basketball.

life is good.
