voices from a distant land...

hello from asia.

my trip here has been everything i expected and more.

it would be impossible for me to go through all the details of my trip right now, so i'll try a really condensed version.

beijing: full of amazing and grand sights. drivers and cyclists are crazy. hoarking everywhere is the norm.
yellow mountain: unbelievable view. my legs were soar for days.
shanghai: finally back to where i'm from. beautiful city with a great mix of traditional china and western comforts.
tokyo: i've never seen so many bright lights in one place. can you say $50USD melons??
osaka: party town. 2 straight all nighters with phil and alex. go namba!
kyoto: another favorite of mine. K's House Hostel is the best! biked through the streets by the river to witness many temples and shrines.
taipei: shihlin night market is truly the best in the world. i could eat there everyday forever.
seoul: i love korean food. will the onchen be everything i hope it to be?

tonight is my last night to seoul and tomorrow i will be in malaysia doing a tour of southeast asia. i'll be home soon. i can't believe i'm been on the road for a month. it seems almost surreal. having a great time, too bad all of YOU can't join me.
